Joby submits area-specific certification plan Joby Aviation, a California-based company developing an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for commercial passenger service, has submitted its first area-specific certification plan to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), believed to be an industry first.
